All broad-spectrum CBD products are carefully refined to remove any impurities and unwanted cannabinoids, like tetrahydrocannabinol. In line with UK laws and regulations, all Cannmed products contain less than 1 mg THC. Broad-spectrum water-soluble CBD contains no traceable amounts of THC.
Skilled hemp farmers provide high-quality hemp oil extract that we use in our products. Based in Kentucky, USA, these farms are fully certified organic, and they are highly regulated. These hemp plants are carefully monitored and tested at regular intervals throughout the growing season and after harvest.
Ideal growing conditions and the expertise of skilled growers mean that the hemp plants are of the highest quality and produce exceptional hemp oil.
Once received at our UK-based facilities, extraction and refinement processes begin. This means that experts break down and separate the compounds. Sophisticated technology allows experts to remove any impurities and unwanted cannabinoids, such as THC, while retaining other naturally occurring compounds. Therefore, Cannmed broad spectrum water-soluble CBD products contain no traceable amounts of THC.
Cannmed provides only the best quality products to our clients which means that we only use the best ingredients. We source our broad-spectrum CBD extract from certified organic farms, based in Kentucky, USA. Expert growers carefully monitor the hemp plants at every stage of the growing process to ensure only the best quality plants are used.
Experts test the plants at regular intervals throughout the growing season and after harvest. We do not treat our plants with any insecticides, pesticides or herbicides during the growing process, which means they are entirely organic.
After harvest, our UK-based facilities carry out the refinement process. This meticulous process removes any unwanted compounds, plant matter, and impurities. This leaves only the purest broad spectrum water-soluble CBD for our products.

Frequently asked questions
Cannabinoids, including CBD, are oil-soluble compounds. This means that they only fully dissolve in fats and oils. However, using nanotechnology, experts can break down CBD molecules into nano-particles. Breaking the molecules down forms a nano-emulsion that can be mixed with water-based solutions.
The nano-emulsion will evenly disperse throughout the water-based solution and give the appearance of dissolving. Although it is not fully dissolved in the same way as CBD dissolves in oil or alcohol, the nano-particles mix so well with water, it appears to have dissolved and will not separate again. Similarly, other cannabinoids like THC dissolve in water, when they undergo the same process.
Both CBD oil and water soluble CBD have their advantages and disadvantages, but water soluble CBD is far more versatile. For example, you can add water soluble CBD to a wider range of foodstuffs and beverages without changing the flavour, appearance, and texture of the finished product. Because water soluble CBD is easily absorbed, CBD water effects are felt much faster.
CBD oil, on the other hand, has an oily texture and quite an earthy taste. When adding CBD oil to beverages like teas and coffees, over time the oil will separate from the water-based liquid and will come to the top. This does not happen with CBD isolate water soluble products.
Using sophisticated nanotechnology, experts can use sounds waves to break CBD and other cannabinoids into nanoparticles. Nanocarriers, i.e. liposomes, protect the CBD whilst attracting water.
Glycosylation is another method of creating water soluble cannabinoids. Glycosylation means adding a sugar molecule to the cannabinoids to increase the water solubility. Our bodies naturally detoxify particles by attaching sugar molecules to them. When this happens with cannabinoids, they become water soluble.
Water soluble CBD isolate cannot get you high. CBD isolate simply means pure CBD. Through refinement processes, we remove almost all other cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and plant matter to provide a pure product. This includes tetrahydrocannabinol.
Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is the compound responsible for causing a euphoric and “high” feeling when consumed. UK laws state that no finished CBD product is permitted to contain more than 1 mg of THC. This small amount is far too little to cause any “high”.
CBD isolate water soluble products are extremely easy to use. As CBD isolate is almost pure CBD, it is easy to accurately measure the desired amount. If you have chosen a liquid CBD product, you can simply mix this with other water-based liquids such as kombucha, tea, coffee, smoothies etc. to create your own products.
Similarly, you can also combine CBD isolate powder with beverages by stirring them into the water-based solution until dissolved. Alternatively, you can mix the powder with other dry ingredients such as powdered nutrients like vitamins or proteins. Therefore, you can create powdered supplements.
