Certification & Compliance
CBD is sourced from sustainable farms in the US, GMP certified production facilities and seed to sale traceability.
In the UK, the manufacture and supply of all cosmetic products is governed by the EU Cosmetics Regulation ((EC) No. 1223/2009) and its amendments. All our products are certified but white label products will need to to comply with the requirements before they are placed on the UK/EU market.
BRCGS
The BRCGS (British Retail Consortium Global Standards) is the most rigorous international GFSI audit scheme. Our supply is audited and accredited against the BRC Issue 8 Standard for food safety. British Retail Consortium (since 1998) is a global benchmark standard recognized under the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
FDA
Our supply is fully compliant and the US facility up to date with its inspections and audits. An FDA registered facility ensures compliance by allowing the FDA the option to audit the manufacturing practices, document retention, and recall procedures.
US Hemp Authority
U.S. Hemp Authority™ Certification Program is our industry's initiative to provide high standards, best practices and self-regulation, thereby giving confidence to consumers and law enforcement that hemp products are safe, and legal. In an effort led by the U.S. Hemp Roundtable, industry leading firms, top-tier testing laboratories, and quality assessors developed comprehensive guidance for growers and processors of hemp.
Cannabis Trades Association
The UK Cannabis Trades association has been leading the way in regulation and lobbying in the UK. Our group of companies have been supportive and our parent company is registered with the CTA. We believe in working with other British companies to improve the quality of regulation within the UK industry and to work to improve the industry for all business from seed to sale.
GMP
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is a system we have in place for ensuring that our CBD and all white label products containing CBD, CBG and distillate are consistent and controlled to high quality standards.
Novel Foods
The application for novel foods approval was started in 2019. We expect to have the approval in place prior to the deadline for May 2021. We believe this is an important step for the industry and welcome the changes in legislation to ensure compliance across the CBD industry.
COA
All our products have a COA (cert of analysis) to show the full composition of the cannabinoid profile and its checks for other trace materials. This ensures that our customers always get what they expect.
Organic
Our Skincare range is organic, each brand will need to complete their own certification process but our ingredients are approved. Organic CBD is a option for all clients to add to edibles and tincture ranges.
Our facilities in the UK
Organic
Our organic CBD is made from organic hemp that is grown to be compliant with the soil association's organic standards. This is an exceptional quality organic CBD range and is available, it will be more expensive but for a range where it will be necessary, we have the supply ready.
Halal
Many of our white label products are made in a process which ensures the features and quality of the products are in accordance with the rules established by the Islamic Council. We want to include all members of the community and are committed to making our products available to all.
Made in England
Our cosmetics range is exclusive to the UK and is hand made in Yorkshire, Northern England. The range has products featuring in many high street shops including Boots, Holland & Barrett, Harrods.
Cruelty Free
Our range is all accredited cruelty free and we believe it's our responsibility as a company to be socially responsible and to protect animals and the world we live in.
